Ultrasound Services

Full Abdominal Ultrasounds

Full abdominal scan assessing all organs and systems. Ultrasounds are interpreted immediately while collecting images to provide fast, same day information to your clients. Detailed reports are sent within 24 hours, and a report from a Board-Certified Radiologist is available for an additional fee.

Organ System-Focused Ultrasounds

Abbreviated Urinary or Hepatobiliary System Ultrasounds that are available at a reduced, affordable cost. Most patients will still benefit from full abdominal ultrasounds, but we are happy to offer these abbreviated scans to help service more clients and their diagnostic needs.

Fine Needle Aspirates

Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirates of masses, the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, and other organ systems can provide critical diagnostic information. Sedation and client approval are required for FNA's, but we are happy to wait on approval during scans when unexpected masses or abnormalities arise.

Echocardiograms

We are now offering cardiac ultrasound services at practices! All echocardiograms are reviewed by a Board-Certified Cardiologist, with reports received within 48 hours. Urgent, STAT reports can be obtained for an additional charge.

*AFAST/TFAST and Pregnancy Checks generally do not receive reports.

*We are happy to perform ultrasounds on exotic pets, but due to their widely varied anatomies and diseases a full Radiologist report at an additional fee is always recommended (but not required) for these patients. If financially possible for clients, referral for ultrasound by a boarded Radiologist is still recommended.

*Abbreviated Cardiac Ultrasounds are NOT full echocardiograms, and are just looking for overt dysfunction and abnormalities for a reduced cost. Full echos with a report by a Cardiologist are always recommended.
